Code of Conduct & Class Rules
Infractions will be dealt with according to severity and frequency.
The following steps may be taken: Warning, Teacher Detention, and ultimately Administrative Intervention. In most cases a teacher detention of 15 minutes to a ½ hour will be issued.
Code of Conduct for Taking Photographs
During the nine weeks of this class you will have the privilege of leaving this classroom to take photographs on our campus. The following policy will be followed when outside the photography classroom/studio. Failure to follow these will result in suspension of privileges, which will have a detrimental effect on your grade.
Have fun taking your pictures, we have a beautiful campus with lots of interesting photographs ready for you to take. Remember you must not be disruptive to other teachers or students. We do not want teachers or administrators complaining about your behavior.
Morristown High School Photographic Imaging Safety Procedures Safety in a photo lab is of the utmost importance. By reading, listening and adhering to the following rules a student will be able to work safely in the photo lab and studio.
Right to Know
MHS purchases the safest chemicals for photo developing. Manufactures of chemicals distributed in the United States are required to provide Material Safety Data Sheets when distributing them to learning institutions. MSDS list all the chemical’s properties, their interaction with other chemicals, toxicity, and any other pertinent information about the chemical. During photography class each student will learn all the pertinent characteristics chemicals used in photography courses at MHS. There are MSDS available to students throughout the year for review.
